Life's Too Short

15 Oct 2008 @ 2.05am

Our beloved Nick have gone peacefully to a better place. God loves him more. We will all be with him, when our time comes.

The thing that disturbs me the most was the fact that he went too early. Tilly and Monty still needs him...especially Michelle my loving sister(in law). Wish i could be there for her. In this new era where there bare no distance, i wish Mr.Spock could beam me to London in a split of a second so that I could hug Michelle and just be there for her.

Life's too short.

We tend to take things for granted... a careless peck on the cheek to work.. a simple tap on the shoulder... an insincere smile. Why cudn't we kiss passionately every time, everyday? Hug like we've never hugged before and smile brightly that cheers the heart of the other?

Why? Because we allow the hussle bustle of city life gets to us. We allow ourselves to be in the rat race. Go to work. Get paid. Pay bills. Ran out of dough by 1st week of the month. Etc. The cycle continues. And we forget to care for our beloved and for ourselves. Where's the Me Time?

Am I not precious? We tend to look after the people around us the most.

The secret to a happiness said a noble zen master is to "Be Present" at all times.

"Be Present"now isn't that what Oprah has been shouting about through Eckhart Tolle's 1st book? Then she launched the his recent new book called "'Awakening To Life's New Beginning"?

I'm not promoting their book. I'm neither their publisher nor their agent.

My thoughts today is about life's journey... Appreciate the people you care or love, around you the most while they are here with you right here on this beautiful planet called earth. For only god knows when our time is up.

That reminds me, better gave my honey a deadline. I'm not getting any younger. And I hope I could pop two more bundle of joys before I reach the big 4-0!

Love while you're still alive. Take risks (calculated risks that is). It's not the numbers that counts, it's the moments in those years that matters the most. What you've tried, what you've achieved (and lost) and etc. We all have one life... Make the most out of it. Life's Too Short. Go out today and re-lived those ambitions those dreams.. It's never too late. We're only old if we think we are.

Tomorrow's another new beginning.

Nanite.
